Joseph Sycip demolished Leo Barroga 5-2 to bag the 32nd edition of the Asian 9-Ball Tournament at the La Sphere Billiard Center. Barroga came out strong in
the first to racks advancing 2-0. However, Sycip came back from behind by taking the next 2 racks to equalize the score. Then, the fired-up Sycip took the next three straight racks to put the icing on the cake.

The battle for 3rd place was won by Isabella Pacchiani who nipped Bong Malabonga 3-2. It was a neck-to-neck race that saw both players equally taking two racks each. However, in the final rack, Pacchiani pocketed a double bank shot on the 9 ball to win the game.
The next tournament is scheduled on the 21th of April. Val Arceo nipped Joseph Sycip 5-3 in today's 25th Asian 9-Ball Tournament at the Centre Carougeois de Billard. It was an exciting match as both players were at an even position. The first two racks was won by Sycip as he played flawlessly both in pocketing and positioning of the cue ball. However in the 3rd and 4th rack, Arceo moved in for the kill and evened the score. The 5th rack was again won by Sycip after running out. But in the last two racks, the balls did not seem to cooperate with Sycip and Arceo took advantage of this to nail down his victory.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22590513.post-74482193716244255502012-06-24T22:51:00.001+02:002012-09-04T21:45:37.092+02:00Battle of Pool Titans at the 25th Asian 9-Ball Tour on 19 August

It was another fun-filled day of pool
competition at the Centre Carouge de Billard as the veteran cue
artist Morris Leonor crushed Leo Barroga 6-3 in the finals of the
6th Ambassador's Cup - Philippine Independence Day 9-Ball Tournament. Leonor easily took
the lead through his perfect pocketing and ball positioning. The
veteran was too much for the less-experienced Barroga.

Jimmy Menguita, on the other hand
blasted “Balikbayan” Banjo San Pedro to win the 3rd place. Menguita, moved quickly to surmount
the resistance of his opponent. It was a neck to neck battle until the 5th rack but Menguita grabbed the last 2 crucial
racks to win 5-3.
