Morris Leonor accepting the Champion's trophyIt was "trick or treat" time at yesterday’s 2006 Halloween All Filipino 9 ball Spookout as Morris Leonor,the scariest of them all, dominated the pool tables and spooked Joey Niespla in the finals match.
Leonor, known as "Morris the Menace", bested Joey Niespla, 5-3, finals to clinch the champion’s cup and top purse. In the race for the 3rd place, Frankie Federigan beat Boss Reyes, 5-1 in a one sided match.
It was Leonor’s 2nd title this year. He also topped the 2006 Summer All-Filipino 9-ball Tournament last July.
This year's 2006 Halloween All Filipino 9 ball Spookout was sponsored by Western Union. Western Union has just opened a new agent location at our very own Mabuhay Asian Store. "Sa Western Union, higit sa pera ang pinapadala mo".
