Ruben beats Arceo 5-3, wins 2nd Asian 8 Ball Tour

Raymundo Ruben shows his winning form during today's 2nd Asian 8 ball Tour

Once again, the Filipino cue masters dominated the finals of the 2nd Asian 8 Ball Tournament today at the Carouge Billiard Center. Raymundo Ruben came out on top by trouncing Val Arceo 5-3. It was a neck-to-neck race from the start until the 3rd frame when Ruben broke away 4-3, then finished off Arceo with precised positioning and pocketing.

In the battle for the 3rd place, Rex "Banjo" San Pedro nipped Ambrosio "Boss" Reyes 5-4 in another tit-for-tat nerve-wrecking match. It was a see-saw battle all the way and the score was tied 4-all. Then, the breaks went for San Pedro after Reyes missed the shot on the 8 ball.

The Philippine Billiard Club-Geneva again would like to thank the participants and supporters of our tournaments. We look forward to seeing you again next month for the 3rd Asian 9 ball tour. For photos of the last tournament, please visit-- http://pbcgeneva.myphotoalbum.com
