Pool Sharks to Clash Anew at 23rd Asian 9-Ball Tour on 25 March

It will be another battle of the Asian poolsharks this 25th March as the 23rd Asian 9-Ball Tour reels off at the Centre Carougeois de Billard. Defending champion Val Arceo is once again the favorite to win this event. However, his nemesis Jimmy Menguita is ready to pounced back and wrest the championship from him. Thai pool veteran Ken Nanakorn is another person to beat as he has proven in the past that he is no push over.

The Philippine Billiard Club of Geneva, the main organizer of the Asian Tours cordially invites our fellow Asians to join us in this afternoon of billiard competition. Val Arceo blanks Jimmy Menquita 7-0 to capture 22nd Asian 9-Ball Tournament

Veteran pool player Val Arceo went on a rampage by crushing his arch-rival Jimmy Menquita 7-0 in the finals of the 22nd Asian 9-Ball Tournament which was held today at the Centre Carougeois de Billard.

Arceo played like a well-oiled machine pocketing and positioning the balls in perfect precision and playing good defensive safeties and taking rack after rack while leaving his opponent scoreless.

In the battle for third place, Nilo Teodoro nipped Catherine Schneeberger 5-3. It was a see-saw battle until the 6th rack as both players fought it out and was tied at 3-3. A decisive foul on the 8 ball by Schneeberger gave Teodoro a chance to sink in the 8 and 9 ball to take the lead. He put an icing on the cake by taking the 8th rack.

The Philippine Billiard Club of Geneva, the main organizer of the Asian Tours would again like to thank our pool players, friends and sponsors for their unwavering support. We would also like to thank the Centre Carougeois de Billard for being our home for the past years.
