Springtime Renews Battle of the Asian Cue Masters at the 5th All Asian 8 Ball Tour

It will be another explosive springtime offensive on 5 April, 2008 when the Asian cue masters battle it out in the upcoming 5th All Asian 8-Ball Tournament at the Centre Billard de Carougeois. Defending Champion, Tony Truong of Vietnam will try to defend his crown against the pool wizards of the Philippines, Thailand, China, Cambodia, and Japan.

Last month’s 5th All Asian 9-Ball Tour surprise champion, Ruben Zaballa, together with pool veterans Val Arceo and Jimmy Menguita lead the opposition team from Philippines. Equally explosive are Thailand’s Dynamic Duo, Ken Nanakorn and Manat Dornkan. Also expected to pull out some surprises are China’s Liang Zi Yue and Japan’s Yoshi Hasegawa.

As a rule, participants in the tournament are requested to be present at least 15 minutes before game time. The usual registration fee for the tournament is 35 CHF for each player participant. The Philippine Billiard Club-Geneva, the main organizer of the Asian Tours invites all Asians to join us in this afternoon of pool competition. Please bring your friends along to play, watch or cheer for their favorite player.
